I installed win2000 pro and iis , but when I try to access

;, the dialog of network password appears , I must input user name ,password , and domain . what is it , and how can I delete it.

When you use IP address it does not know who you are.

Hi, Koeicjm:

Go to your web server (w2k pro - in your case), open IIS from Administrative Tools, highlight the site, right click it, go Properties. Click Directory Security tab, check Anonymous access and authentication control section, click Edit. Check the first box "Allow anonymous access". Click OK. Uncheck the other 2 boxes below. Click OK. Close IIS.

I don't have W2k pro with me now, and hope my memory served me right. Hope it helped. Let me know how it goes.
