Start, Run, CMD type: set DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1 Go into Device Manager, View, Show Hidden Devices. Go to the Multimedia/Sound section and remove all the entries found there. Reboot, and go back into BIOS. Disable the onboard sound device. Restart Windows and the New Hardware Wizard should run and let you install the sound board. Upvote 0 Downvote
