I have one Domain, one Exchange server 5.5 sp4, I recently attempted to place a new exchange server 2003 on Windows 2003 in my domain but my hard drive failed after I had migrated a few mailboxes over. I reloaded 2003, and did a recovery from my arcserve. I then moved these mailboxes back over to the exchange 5.5 server until I get a more relyable server for the 2003. Since I have done this some of the other employees that stayed on the 5.5 server have been recieving emails like:
From: System Administrator
To: (person that was on 2003)
Sent: (date)
Subject: Undeliverable: (forwarded message subjected)

your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

subject: (same as above subject)
sent: (date and time)

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
(employee name) on (date / time)
the maximum time for delivering the message expired
the MTS-ID of the original message is:C=US;A= ;P=(COMPANY NAME); I=(SERVER NAME-040804191135z-27142 MSEXCH:MSExchangeMTA:(administrative group:5.5 exchange server)

What do I do with the settings to remove this?
Please help.
Thor
