The mapped network drive could not be created

Hello!

Users on Windows XP PRO try to connect to Windows 2000 Server and get the following message. Server is licensed for 35 users... and there are no more than 7 users, all using XP Pro (no NT, 95/98/2000). Server is DC

No more connections can be made to this computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept
 
Right click on My Computer on the server. Choose Manage.

Go to Shared Folders | Sessions

Look at the connections under sessions to see what is going on.

Also check your event logs.

You can go to Start-> Programs->administrative tools-> licensing to view you current license usage.

The problem was that the user was logging is several times from different computers and the policy did not allow that.

The reboot of the server resolved the issue
