I receive this message "The item could not be saved to this folder. The folder has been deleted
or moved, or you do not have permissions. Do you want to save a copy of
it in the default folder for the item?" I am using outlook 2003 and exchange 2000. This seems to be effecting only my computer and just began to happen. I have administrator permissions on the server and my xp pro workstation. Any help.
 
When do you receive the message?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!
 
Are you attempting to save the file "manually" or is it being saved via code of some sort or what? We'll need some reference to be able to assist you with this problem.

sorry, I was not as specific as I should have been. When I create or delete a public calendar item. I can change it but can not create one or delete one. I have no problem with the public contacts.
 
I just had to fix this problem for a user. I decided to say screw it and just gave them a new server profile and let it save to the PC. Then I was of course forced to set up their Outlook profile. Then I noticed they were over their mailbox storage limit (which I suspect may have been the actual cause). One (or more) of these did the trick. Try those things; might get lucky like me.
