The Internet Exployer is sitting on my screen..frozen

When all the icons get on. then this big Internet exployer covers almost all my screen. I have Goggle as my home page. so this thing shows up will not move.doesn't have a toolbar or header. I have done,a three month restart,three finger salute,every thing I can think of...

First thing I'd do is see if Explorer is in your start up menu and if it is remove it.

Then I'd check the rest of the usual suspects such as RAM, CPU etc.

I would also suggest a total scan of your system...

sounds almost like you have a Spy, trojan or maybe even a Virus in your system...

then in the IE window hit, I do believe it's F11 to change it back to NORMAL, but don't quote me on this one...

if that doesn't help... try reinstalling IE or update it if it's under ver. 6...

Well, first of all I want to thank all of you who answered
My e-post... I tried each and every thing, nothing worked .
So I knew I was going to look at that big white Square for the rest of this computers life. So again I tried and the screen turned orange!!! So I worked some more, I went to display in control panel and then desk top.then custom button on that page. then web. unchecked the box and the big sq. was gone...... Again Thank you , Alkaha
