The IMAPI CD Burning COM service error

Can someone please tell me what this error means and how I can rectify this problem.

"THE IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE ENTERED THE STOPPED STATE"

I get this error when I go to start several games like VIETCONG

Well this is the Windows XP built in Imapi cd burning service. If you do not use it, then I'd say disable it. If you have software like nero or ez cd creator or do not have a cd burner, disable it. You can do this by clicking start and opening the control panel then click on Administrative Tools and then services. Then in the service list you can see IMAPI CD Burning COM Service. Select it then right click on it and select properties. Then in the startup type select disabled. Then you can stop it here if its started. On the next reboot it wont start up and you shouldn't get the error anymore.
