The Epox 8kha+ support pc 1600?

I keep lookin on specs and reviews on the Epox 8kha +. And they keep saying the memory support is pc 2100 ddr. can i use pc 1600 ddr? and if u go to crucial.com to pick out the memory for the board, the pc 1600's doesnt show up. They only let u buy the pc 2100 ddr for that board. whats up?
