There is now the CS1000 e the CS1000 M the CS1000 HA. Does anyone know where there is a list of the CS1000 product line and a brief description of them? The Nortel Web Site is a bear to try and weed through. I just came from there and couldn't get the web site to cough this information up.

if you know what your interested in, a more direct question here might get more honest opinions then the nortel website.. most of us have been in the field for decades

Actually there is only the CS1000e and CS1000m now. The abreviations SA (standard availability) and HA (high availability) refer to the number of processors, Call Servers if you will. SA is a single processor and HA is a dual processor.

CS1000E = Newest system type and comes in either HA or SA
CS1000M Full Group = More commonly known as Option 61C for
those older techs
CS1000M Multi Group = More commonly known as Option 81C for
those older techs
CS1000M Cabinet = Option 11C for those older techs. Hangs on
the wall and has 10 card slots.
CS1000M Chassis = Option 11C Mini for those older techs.
Mounts in rack but you can get wall mount
brackets.

Furthermore, the CS1000e can be a mix of Chassis or Cabinets (Option 11 cabinets). Form factor no longer matters.
