the connection to the citrix metaframe server was interrupted

I get this error quite often, in my opinion far too often. On both sides (server side and client side) are internet connections with over 500KB bandwidth - and i even got that error, when i connected a notebook outside of our firewall, but before the wan link. Any tips/suggestions how to fix the problem. I'm using Citrix XP - FP3

Set these on the server:

Then make sure , there are no routers, firewalls or managable switches configured for idle time settings.
If so, try to disable them, or set the idle time on max.
