I must admit that it would appear that your previous conversation with Tommy is lacking in the details of that conversation in this thread.
If you are looking to program a button to use as flash then program a Recall button. If you are looking to build an auto dial code that contains flash then follow the examples on b-2.

I think maybe my question was not understood.
I am transfering from the Partner to an extenial voicemail system not made by Lucent, the call is dropped into this voicemail and then needs to transfer back to the Partner.
On my Panasonic PBX I just entered the extension number. What does the Partner require? It needs to be programed into the Voicemail with a keyboard.
I have tried using a standard phone (to mimic the voicemail system) and the only way I can transfer back into the Partner system is by hitting flash. What command can the computer send that mimics "flash"?

Well, it is your computer system that needs to send a flash to the Partner system - so now you need to find the documentation for that system.
Can we ask you this: just what is the voice mail system that you have connected to the Partner phone system, that needs to transfer the call back to a Partner extension?

Hi Tommy.
We are a non profit so we are trying to do this with as little money as possible.
When we activate a new membership they have to answer a series of questions, if yes, they continue, if no it needs to play a prompt explaning why we can not activate their membership. It asks three questions and if they are all yes it transfers back to an operator that finishes the activation.
Our current system is an old win 95 Telefriend system, but it works well for the activation process.
I am assuming my Partner Mail VS R5 will not allow me to ask questions requiring a "1" or "2" response that continues to another prompt. I have access to a Partner Mail R3 system (the stand alone) would that do what I need? I think on the Partner System it is sub menus that I need?

Yes, the Partner Mail has submenus, which would probably do what you want.
So question 1, press 1 for Yes or 2 for No. If they press 1 for yes, go to another submenu, with the same options. 1 from there goes to still another submenu, and if they press 1 here, it can transfer to an extension.
You'll have to define what should happen if they press 2 at any of the questions, probably another submenu that explains the situation, and gives options to back up or leave a message, or whatever the next step is.
But, if you figure out the code to make your Telefriend flash, then pause, then dial an extension number, you will be all done.

OK that's great. I think what I will try to do is stick with Partner system and get the partner mail going. Can I use both the Partner Mail VS and the Partner Mail or is it a one or the other type of thing?

It's one or the other. The Partner Mail, while old, has a LOT of features. What is the Partner version that you are using it with? There may be issues when using with an ACS and 308 cards, you might have to use a 206 card to interface to the Partner Mail.
