I have a report that is based upon one table and I want to put some information into the report from another table. This information is based upon one of the values in the first table. I think it is possible to have information from more than one table but I am not sure. as always any and all suggestions are appreciated and welcome.
Walt III
SAElukewl@netscape.net
<a href=

Write a query to include all the fields you want from both tables and used that as the form's underlying datasource.

I was hoping to avoid writing a query because the data is constantly changing and the query will have to be updated every time before I print the parts of the table. However that brings up another aspect that I had not mentioned the data comes from a table that somehow needs to filter down the information to what I want and a query is probably the easiest way. thanks for the help

Walt III
SAElukewl@netscape.net
<a href=

Walt,

You could insert a sub-report and link the two by the common field as parent and child. I'm not sure of the details of what you want to do, so I can't be more specific. I hope this helps somewhat.

Karen
klp63_99@yahoo.com
Don't worry about the data changing, the data in the query will be always be the same that is in the table at the moment that you run the query.
