textfield values on a Report

I have a report that is based upon one table and I want to put some information into the report from another table. This information is based upon one of the values in the first table. Write a query to include all the fields you want from both tables and used that as the form's underlying datasource.

I was hoping to avoid writing a query because the data is constantly changing and the query will have to be updated every time before I print the parts of the table. Don't worry about the data changing, the data in the query will be always be the same that is in the table at the moment that you run the query.
