I want to know if it's possible to alter the value of some paragraph tags using javascript...<br>
<br>
This'll help make my page much clearer because I want mouseOver events to trigger writing to be updated, and the only way I can do that at the moment is with text or input boxes. Failing that, is it possible to have the text box there just its borders aren't drawn? Thanks

I dont think you can do it with JavaScript, but I discovered some pretty interesting things that you can do with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). What you can do is specify all &lt;textarea&gt; tags to be the same exact color as the background on your page, and they won't show at all, they will simply blend in. I have found this to be kind of fun to mess with, because you can also make 'rollover' texareas as well as all input areas-- including submit buttons and radio buttons, all kinds of buttons, checkboxes, whatever. It's treally simple, but this part requires a short line of JavaScript. The only problem with this however, is that the inferior browser we all know as 'Netscape' does not support CSS.

As poorly as Netscape supports CCS now, it's almost inaccurate to say that it supports it at all.
