Text Reflows

I have a document that we create, the text is were we want it. We then move this document into a template that has been created a number of years ago and the text reflows. We have to expand the text box a little bit and it comes back to normal. I think there is something in the template setting that I need to change, but not sure were to start. Any suggestions would be helpful as this problem that keeps bugging me.
We have Quark 4, Mac 9.2

Do your template text boxes perhaps have a text inset? Or does a nearby item have a runaround?

And check your H&Js to see if your character spacing and/or size is set differently in the template.

I've seen this a few times and i'm pretty confident that sharkboots is right! The H&J's are the only thing that you don't manage to copy over when moving items between documents. However, you can append H&J's from one document to another...

Thanks very much, it was the H&Js, I changed them to match the original documents and text reflow has stopped. Until someone changes it on me.
