When typing in a document in Pagemaker 6.5 the text will not jump automatically to the next line when it reaches the edge of the document.
The text continues to keep writing onthe same line I started and just keeps getting compressed.
How do I indicate and where to tell my text to automatically jump to the next line when it reaches the edge of the document????
Please help, I am not very familiar with Pagemaker!
thank-you

Draw textbox with arrow to appropriate size.
Your box has too much width.

You might also want to go to your Text area and set it up for "Text Wrap." Sometimes, as indicated in the aforementioned reply, the extreme tabs are not set wide enough within your text box. Simply use your "pointer" to extend the size by grabbing one of the highlighted handles and moving it laterally to the desired width. Also, you might want to check out "Justification" to see if your text mode is set at normal. If you have "Text Wrap" on, then a red tab should appear at the lower end of your text block. Double click on this bottom threshhold (red tab) of the text block, take the pointer to the next column and double click it in the upper left threshhold of that area. After performing this task, text should flow to these areas without further editing.

Good luck!

THANK- YOU GUYS!

I am working overseas as a Volunteer with Burmese Refugees. I soon realized my problem was the font itself. When writing with the Karen Font there is usually no SPACES in between the words. So there was no automatic return then. So I will just have to manually press return for every line. Lots of fun ,eh!!!!
( can you tell I'm canadian)
