Text Format

Does anyone have any secrets for exporting a report into text format. I always seem to have data fields cutoff after exporting.

Did you check 'Can grow' attribute on your text fields?
Also, I found somewhere on Crystal site that export to text internaly convert all fields to font Courier, with font size 10pt. So try to increase your font size and to select monospaced font.

Check whether you have the latest DLLs. Which version of Crystal are you using? And what names does it use for the different export options?

I am using version 8.5.

It appears to be mostly formula fields that are cut off and the "Can Grow" option is grayed out and not available for these fields. Further information would be appreciated.

Is your problem with exporting to Word, Excel or whatever? Or are you talking about the details on the normal Crystal report?
