text editor ocx

I am using (read struggling with) txtextcontrol by the imaging source. It has numerous failings. TIS respond sometimes by saying they will fix it in a service pack to version 9. We have version 8 and they want $500 to upgrade (I'm not joking).

I think there is a TE something ocx. Does anyone have any experience of it. They don't do a demo. You have to buy it. Peter Meachem

Rich Textbox Control. Go to Project / Components and select Microsoft Rich Textbox Control. The Icon will will appear in the Toolbox like an other control. Produces RTF data displyable by Wordpad and Word.

It doesn't have the features I need. Not without a huge amount of coding anyway. Headers, footers, tables, data fields, wiigly line speller support etc. Peter Meachem
