Text disappears in html view

In HTML view in Front Page 2000, I can not see the text of my document. It's white on white. I can however see all the tags in blue, like <table>

If I highlight the line then I can see it in reverse. This happens with more than one web. The text shows up fine in Normal and Preview mode. I switched themes, but that didn't help.

Any ideas?

Try this:
Pull down the TOOLS menu.
Select PAGE OPTIONS
Click the COLOR CODING tab.
Click the RESET COLORS button.
