Hi all,

Does anyone remember how to zoom out a text box. For instance, if you have a text field that you type some static text into and the box is only an inch wide and you don't want to expand the box, but you want to hit an F key and open up a dialog box that allows you to edit the full sentance. Basically for notes purposes, field will be hidden.

I thought there was a way to do this, but I forgot.

Thanks...

akabatman2,

Hitting F2 will put the text object into edit mode, but I don't think that's what you want. Do you also want to make the object bigger in some way? If so, I don't think you can do that.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for responding. Yes, I wanted to make the obect open into a larger window for editing. So, lets say, the text object is a centimeter long, I hit F2 and it brings up a dialog box with a larger textbox to edit from within.

As you've said, F2 only puts the box in edit mode.

Thanks,

Tom
