Testing SCSI Dat Drive

How do I know if my SCSI drive is OK sat on my ISA SCSI card? Is there something I need to be seeing when the system boots? My SCSI card has jumpers to set the IO/IRQ and I dont know if Im getting resource conflicts or anything. The system is booting fine.
