testing ram and hardware with mini linux

This verison of linux claims it can test memory and hardware, but doesn't give details. I have downloaded now how do i go about testing my ram and hardware?

As far as I understood, its only a Linux Boot CD which already has the OS in it therefore allows you to test the hardware and memory of the machine, those tests are performed by booting from the cd and playing around with some linux commands. I am sure the mailing list they provide can help you out much more.
