Test not displaying across columns

Hi all

I have an Excel sheet displaying various graphs. It was created by saving a sheet under a different name.

Each chart has a title, which should display across more than one column, as the width of the text is greater than the width of the column. This works fine in the original sheet, but after doing the File/Save As, the titles fail to display across the colums and are curtailed at the right hand edge of the cell in which they are typed.

There is nothing in the adjascent cells (and I have done Edit/Clear/All) to make sure.
Wrap Text is not enabled in any of the cells.

Any ideas?

Hi,

People often make a mistake by using the SPACE bar to "CLEAR" a cell. Make sure that the cells that appear to be empty, REALLY ARE EMPTY by hitting the DELETE key in the cells adjacent to the titles.

Also check the Horizontal Alignment of these titles. Did you use Center across selection or merged cells?
