test dialing string

Does anybody know if there is a command to test what processes a number goes thru after being dialed? I know I can do a list trace, but I would like to see before hand if I dial xxxx, what ars matching pattern, route and trunk group it is routed out. Thanks

Do a command list ars route-chosen (x) (x)being the dialed string. This should show you some more information. Otherwise, just do some research on Least Cost Routing, cause it's a bit too complicated to just put up here.
