I have a WINDOWS 200 Machine, let's say the name PC1, which is a PDC and has an activated Terminal Service License. A different machine, let;s say the name PC2, has been connected to the License Server. Now when I go to a different machine and try to access the terminal services I get these errors :

1) Remote Connections might not be enabled at the remote computer
2) The maximum number of connections was exceeded at the remote computer
3) A network error occured while establishing the connection.

Any suggestions would be grateful Thanks

Enigma256,

You can install Terminal Services in two modes,

Applicaiton
or
Remote Administration

Remote Administration is limited to 2 concurrent connections. Check out which option you chose when installing.

In PC2, I have chosen Application mode as the option to install. Thanks

Is the TS Client defined as a TS User on the Terminal Server?
Did you check in TS Management to see how many connections are active? If you do not set them to automatically disconnect they may not.

Thanks for the help. fixed the problem Had to go into regedit HKLM\SYSTEM\SERVICES\CURRENTCONTROLSET\TERMSERVICES\PARAMETERS add a key DEFAULTLICENSINGSERVER with (reg_sz) the value of the name of the server. Reboot the machine and it worked.
