i previously installed terminal services with out licenses but after three months it terminated?? i contacted microsoft and bought the lisences and reformated the computers the licenses don't work anymore??

When you Install Terminal Services in Application Server mode you must install License Server as well. Once license server is installed then you can install the licenses. Was license server installed? We need some more info. James Collins

Do you mean that your clients cannot connect because they can't obtain a license? If this is so, their local client license is probably one of the old licenses that was unique to the unlicensed Terminal server. TS will still issue temporary licenses so that it can keep track of each client license.

Try deleting the license info in the registry...HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\License000

Remember that Windows 2000 clients already have a client license installed so don't delete those keys for those clients.

Hope this helps.
