Hi everyone

I have a windows 2000 server for terminal services i have activated terminal services for windows 2000 and xp clients
for some reason some clients can't log on to the server and i get an error in event viewer with id 1004 source termserv.
I searched in microsoft for that error and i found that i must
delete a key in registry on the clients. Mslicensing i did that but it did not worked.

Can anyone help me

I've always found that I have to delete 2 things in the registry.

The key "ClientHWID" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing\HardwareID"

and the whole foder "LICENSE000" at
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\LICENSE000"
