hi.
i have created a new user on my terminal server. I tired to logon to the server using terminal services client from my pc but was denied access.
The message is ".....unable to logon locally..."
but i am able to logon using this new account from the server.
any idea?
thanks

Is it that machine a DC?
Check al GPOs! If it is a DC check the GPO from DomainControllers folder.
Check also if TSInternetUSer is added in the logon locally and not restricted.

But my question had more points.
Did you check "log o locally" and "deny logon locally" rights on the GPOs involved? Gia Betiu

i enabled the logon locally rights for my new account.
i can logon locally on the server itself but not using terminal services client on my pc.

well,... unitasking process. I have to tell yo u line by line.
Check TSInternetUSer! You have to know that from TS point of view, once you didn't applied notssid.inf incremental template, your users will be assigned the rights of this account. Gia Betiu
