Terminal Services License Problem

Hi There
Every time a certain user logs on to thier RDP connection they get the following error message
When user logs on message:
"your terminal services temporary client licence will expire in 10 days please contact your system administrator to get a permanent licence".

The reason for this is that when the terminal was being tested it recieved its license from a different server as to the one its connected to now.
I understand that Service Pack 3 should have resolved this problem but it has'nt.

Any ideas?? Thanks
 
your right in that sp3 should have resolved this, however, ive not tested it myself.

Did you do the express install, was sp3 applied before the licenses were activated. Ive been advised that sp3 would need to be re-applied once cals have been activated

are you using AD, do you still have more than one licence server ?
 
I'm not sure when SP3 was installed, it was my first day yesterday.
There is still 2 TS Servers both at diferent sites.
We are running AD on Advanced Server
 
Sorry, typo in the first post, MS said that you must have had SP3 applied before applying the cals. Not the end of the world though, as ive had differing results if i applied sp3 after.

I would get Licensing down to 1 licence server per subnet/network. You say that you have 2 terminal servers, are they on the same network ?

I would maybe re-apply sp3 though, just to make sure. If your really stuggling you can delete the licence from the registry and then re-connect it to get a full licence, but thats one good reason to have a single licence server (amongst plenty of others)
 
The user is using a Winterm to connect to the network.

I will try to re-install SP3
