Terminal Services Client and Keyloggers

Been doing some searching and haven't really found anything definitive.

Curious about the vulnerabilities of Microsoft's Terminal Services Client/Remote Desktop Connection 5.1/5.2 to keyloggers on the remote client.

Anyone with experience/information? I've recently taken over a position where TS is used extensively for access to an application involving sensitive personal information.

if a keylogger is installed on any machine it can capture any keyboard click and route them to a log elsewhere.

a sniffer can accomplish the same thing by other means.
