Hi,

I hope this is a simple straightforward question )

When I had just a few workstations I could afford MS Office licences for each. With 10+ Desktops plus outfield laptops the cost of licences is getting prohibitive.

My question is this:

If I install a W2000 server with the full MS Office suite on it, will my desktops etc, running as terminal services clients, be able to run stuff like Access 2002 on the server? There would occasionally be multiple copies of Access running?

Hi,

Just answering myself here I guess. Looked across the web for server licencing stuff. And YES I do need to licence all workstations etc which will be used to fire up Access or Word etc on the server via terminal services.

Another question:

If the workstation is a terminal services client, how can the system 'tell' if it is licenced or not?.
