Are you trying to log into a Windows 2000 Pro machine using Terminal Services? I don't believe you can. It's easier to use a freebie like tightvnc. This allow remote interaction of a pc via tcp/ip or netbios. You can get that at
Tightvnc prompts you to replace vnc connections with tightvnc connections. The great thing about tightvnc is it allows multiple people to be logged into one machine at the same time, where vnc would only allow one user to log into one machine. I was working with a consultant in Peurto Rico who was using tightvnc to log into a machine that I was also logged into which was located in a different part of the plant. We started a notepad session and were able to communicate that way.
