I ma running Server 2003 with terminal services in Application mode. All through implementationa and testing we had no issues with connectivity but since we went live this week we are having an issue with users sessions hanging.

The system is setup so as the users login it launches the application and when the exit the app the session logs out. But we have a few users who will freeze when in the application. If this happens we have to disconnect the sessions from TS manager.

I can see no reason for this freezing, the server is way over spec'd for the number of users and the single app they are running but it is still happening.

Any ideas or pointers on where to start?

Thanks

Does this issue come into play when more users are logged on? If one user was on the system would they hang? Do you have any group policy setup that says "connect after a certain amount of time"?

Also is the application database driven?

the number of logged in users does not seem to make a difference.

we have no group policy setup and the application is SQL based. The SQL server is on another server on the same LAN subnet.
