We use Terminal Server on Windows 2003 with out locally connected thin clients, but also allow users to connect from home. Is there any way to control what IP Address range a certain user or group of users can connect from. I know I can do this by only allowing remote users to connect via VPN, but was wondering if there was anything that I could configure on TS or on the Network Interface to filter connections based on user/IP Address.
The situation is we have a few accounts that are used by volunteers who logon to the TS via local Thin Client, however I'd like to be able to deny them access to the TS from anywhere that is not IP Address on the local subnet.
