Greetings all, recently we removed terminal services and terminal services licensing from a windows 2000 server and after doing so it will no longer start. It just hangs with a blinking curser on boot up, do we have any option other then restore from a backup? I have a service partition and can boot into that ok but not sure what good it does us at this point.

Thankyou

Can you get to the F8 screen? If so, try rolling back to an earlier configuration.

Afriad that I don't get the option to choose safemode or last known config, as soon as the bios is done and windows trys to boot it goes straight to the blinking curser. Tried F8 but i dont think im even getting to the point where it works, the only thing I can really do is boot the system with the service partition but I can't seem to do anything from in there.

Try booting from installation cd or boot disks and try a repair...

Got it working, there was an issue with the MBR
