We run 2 Terminal Servers here, when we add a new user onto the system we let to TS create the user a default profile.
On one of the servers we have no problems but on the other there is an issue with dates.
When the user is working on some applications (bespoke) the dates entered are re arranged for example 12/07/2003 could come out like 07/03/2017 - this happens all the time.
I have deleted the user accounts and added them onto the other server and the problem is fixed.
It is definatly a profile issue as I have transfered users and their profiles from server to server and everything is fine.
It is only when a new user is created with a default profile - any ideas.

All server time / date settings are correct.

Thanks

You answered your question..

Copy the Default User Profile from the server that is functioning properly, RENAME,DONT DELETE IT YET, the Default User Profile on the second machine.. Make sure when you copy it to the second server, it is EXACTLY the same name as the one renamed.. The Default User Profile is, of course, the profile the machine uses to create new ones!!

If your using an upgraded server from NT4, the profile will still be under ?:\winnt\profiles

If it's a new install of 2k, of course, it'll be under docs and settins..

You might have to wait till all the users are off the system to rename that default profile.. I'm just thinking there might be services running that'll prevent you from doing it properly.. but maybe not.. ??

Good luck!!
