I have users logging into terminal server with their laptops. WHen they login, it creates multiple sessions up to 6 of various printers. Anyway to stop this from happening?

No, I am using Win2K server with terminal server. We connect through a VPN and than Remote Desktop Connection.

I ask because I had same problem. We use citrix and the answer was to set the metaframe policy to "only connect to clients default printer". The only setting I can think of you can try is in the terminal services configuration RDP-TCP connection properties- client settings- default to main client printer... but I don't think this will prevent non-default printers from being mapped. You can certainly give it a try then log in a new session to test. I will let you know if I think of anything else.
