I had a user choose to shutdown as opposed to log off yesterday and she powered down the server. How do I correct this. Is there a domain policy I can implement? w2k environment with thin clients.

Thanks,
Mat

W2k group policy --> user configuration --> administrative templates--> start menu & task bar--> diasble & remove the Shut Down command.

If you enable this parameter the clients will no longer be able to shutdown your system (assuming the clients are using this policy).

(To access group policy - Active Directory users and Computers; view properties of OU that users are in)
