Good day all.
I am having and issue with users logging on through Terminal Server (WIN2K SP4). This problem has just started. When they attempt to log on, the following message box appears for a 30 second count down:
"Windows cannot log you on bacause the profile cannot be loaded. The process cannot access the file bacause it is being used by another process"
All my remote users are experiencing this message. I CAN log on as Administrator though!
I logged on as admin and viewed the profiles from windows Explorer. After giving the user local admin rights to the server....I was able to log in as the user.....but it created a new profile. Now the profile directory structure looks like this:
Documents and Settings
--- username.domain
--- username.domain.000
The .000 is the new profile and I have copied the needed files from the original directory to the new directory as a work around.
BUT WHAT IS THE REAL ISSUE ?!?!?
I cannot do this for all the users.
Thanks Everyone
Mike
