Synopsis:
Client has two sites. Running TS client sessions at main and remote site. TS client is the latest Remote Desktop (5.1?). Main office TS users run with no issues. When the client moves to remote office the Terminal Services session is kicked after 10 minutes. Testing from our office in Texas to client site in Florida produces same results.

Remote office uses a DSL connection. Local office is cable modem. Router at main office is an Allied Telesyn AT-220E with latest firmware. Remote router is Linksys BEFS41.

Has anyone experienced this phenomenon with TS? I have multiple sites running TS client on various OS platforms and I also have users hitting my local servers from remote offices and none of these sites are suffering this issue.

Dumb question maybe, but nobody has screwed with your users Session settings maybe, setting a maximum session time of 10 minutes ? MSN Messenger - ajcurrie@hotmail.com

Nope. No session time out settings on either the client config, the RDP config or the individual user profiles.

thanks,

md
