We just had a new client install one of our applications on a terminal server - something we never tested - and it almost all works. It normally uses the MAC address to identify the unique station to setup the basic hardware configuration parameters - those separate from the user information.

Unfortunately without a unique MAC address, they all appear to be the same location, and this really messes up the default printer location, etc.

Since I've never had to deal with TS before, can anyone suggest a way to ID each client location? Sample code is always welcome! :)

Dave,
Nope, the "user" is what you login in as (just like in Sys(0)), and it changes at the location with different users.

I've gotten 3 solutions so far in the newsgroups, one tested good, but costs, and the other two will have to wait for Monday for further testing.

If I get a complete VFP solution, I'll post it here!
