I went to my terminal this morning (vts20) and I had nothing but a blinking cursor. I hit F4 which normally switches to voicemail from pbx and still nothing. I checked the switch box (set correct) and all cables and all looks good. No one is usually in this room to move anything. Its a nortel meridian 25X system. I can hit f3 on the monitor and get into system settings, it shows toggling of sessions and responds but still nothing. When I turn on the terminal I do get the verify time as normal. shows printer ready. Any ideas? Whwrre does this normally tie back in? Is there a default baud rate I can check in the system?

depends on the system type more then rls.. for an opt 11, you'll see a cable with three heads, with a larger switch you'll see a i/o port on the back

also try that from any other port. if you can't do that you'll need to try that command from a maint phone

And if you don't have any other terminals or maint phones than try an INI as a last resort and make sure the terminal you were using is back the way it was before you made any changes.
