Hi all,
I have a document which has a header and footer on page one, and immediately below the header there is a continous section break so that when the user types enough to use a 2nd page, the header and footer are not repeated.
I have a new paragraph marker under the continous break and I have saved the document as a template with the insertion point flashing on the paragraph under the break.
When I either open the template or a new document based on the template the insertion point (and therefore where the user starts typing) is at the start of the section break.
This means that if they don't remember to curser down (which let's face it, they won't), when they get to page 2 the header and footer appear because the section break is not yet in effect.
Can anyone offer any advice before I go insane?
Thanx
Gary
