Hi,

I am using Office XP on an XP machine. I have crearted several Templates for my users who are using WinNT, however, the two OS's do not seem to be a problem since I am experienceing the same problem on my machine. The problem is when I create my temple, which, is only a letter head. The curser starts at the top of the page in the header above all text and centered instead of the body of the page and to the left. I have a header which contains our company name and address and under the header I have inserted a date field.

How can I make the curser start in body below the header and to the left?

There must be a better way!

1. "create my template" means writing the actual template. Do you mean USE the template? Using the template means usig File > New to make a clone of the template.

The onlt thing I can think of is that in the real creation of the template, you have left the cursor in the header. In which case any dicument created from the template, will start there as well.
