Hi,

I have a series of XML commands such as :

<point>a</point>
<point>b</point>
<point>c</point>

In my XSLT I then have the template :

<xsl:template match=&quot;point&quot;>
<li>
<xsl:value-of select=&quot;.&quot;/>
</li>
</xsl:template>

However the first time I see a point I want to add a break line command , I have tried to add the line

<xsl:if test=&quot;point[position() = 1]&quot;><br/></xsl:if>

into the template but this does not work .

Can anyone please help

Thank you

Craig

What else have you tried? test=&quot;postion() = 1&quot; or
test=&quot;self::postion() = 1&quot;

What else??
