Hey. I would like to know the reason why my temperature monitor programs shows different values. When I look in the BIOS and when I use the programs motherboard monitor & sisoft sandra the CPU temp is 45-50 degrees celcius. But when I use the program wich came with the motherboard I get a CPU temp at about 80 degrees celcius. It's quite a difference so what can be the problem and what measurement should I trust?

My system:

Gigabyte 7ZMM motherboard
800MhZ AMD Duron
384 PC133 Ram

I would trust the bios reading more than the software reading - just because if it were truely up at 80 degrees celcius, your cpu would cease to function.

Thanks for your advise. I have the same oppinion as you, I just thought I would hear others oppinion:)

I had an Asus board that never read properly on other software. I agree, use the motherboard software.
