Does anyone know of a Stored Procedure that will drop and re-create the Tempdb database?

The others aren't saying it but DON'T EVEN THINK OF DOING THAT.

First....SQL Server won't work without TEMPDB. Go to Enterprise Manager, drill down to Management, expand that and find your latest SQL Server Error log. Look at the order the databases start up....what's first? TEMPDB. Nothing will work without that.

Second....if you really need to recreate the TEMPDB, just stop and restart the SQL Server services.
