When viewing reports in the preview I am having problems accessing large data base files because it needs to store a temp file and I am running out of room. I am only trying to access a 100,000 record database and i need to access more then this. How can I set it up to not create a temp file or is there any way around this. This database is using almost 500MB of drive space to open this database. I would love any suggestions

I had the same problem with some budget reports I wrote. I increased my paging file on my PC. I also had a bigger hard drive put in my PC.
LindaC
lcastner@co.orange.ny.us

You could also try writing the query to minimize the number of records returned to Crystal - most reports don't actually print 100,000 rows, as this would generate more than a thousand pages usually.
Malcolm Wynden
wynden@island.dot.net
