I'd like to know, if possible, of a way to move the location of the temp folder.

It is located through C:\documents and settings\username\local settings at present and this address varies for each user. I would like to change the location to c:\temp and then do this for each user so that it is easy to locate and delete.

I have already done this for the Temporary Internet Files folder but would like to know if it can also be done for the temp folder.

Any help is much appreciated.

I think you can just set the user environment variables tmp and temp to the path you want (system ones default to \windows\temp). See these registry keys:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Environment
HKEY_USERS\<identifier>\Environment
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Session Manager\Environment

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables

Go to System Variables and make the change.
