Morning!
I just switched from a frame relay to 3 ISPs and 3 PIXs with site to site VPN. It's been an adventure! I have a UNIX box that about 20 people Telnet into and stay on it all day. Now with the VPN we're having people getting kicked off after a little while of inactivity in their session. Any ideas on this? Is there something in the PIX? Shoot is there a better telnet program that will stay alive out there? Thanks!!

what is the timeout for your connectiosn "conn" try increasing it:

timeout conn 5:00:00

timeout xlate 5:00:00

Increase or decrease as you like. Just keep in mind if your connection table or xlate table fills up it may be due to stale entries.

tried changing the timeout values and I'm still having the issue. It's realy annoying. I've tried to keep the tunnel open by pinging the server from the client machine -t, and that doesn't help.
