Hi,

My win2k clients are able to telnet my 2kserver but none of my linux boxes. The error message is 'Server allows NTLM authentication only' and my connaction is closed just after.

(Sorry.... I'm not sure whether this post belongs here.)

I think you must change the authentication type on your IIS properties to a lower level (maybe Basic) for those Linux Boxes to be able to do it. A+, MCP, CCNA

Keep fighting for your knowledge!

Could you be more specific....
Thanx

I found the solution:
Type tlntadmn on win2k server and set NTLM to 0. Then restart Telnet service.

But from there my keyboard is functionnig stangely on my linux box . I will continue this post in 'Linux' board
